MACHINE TECHNOLOGY

The Machine Technology Program is nationally certified. Students learn to design, program, and manufacture numerous projects including a radio controlled robot and a four-wheel, human-powered quadra cycle.

Qualifying senior Machine Technology students may enhance their education while still in school through the apprenticeship program or early job placement. Another senior option is taking a CNC course that utilizes CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design & Computer Aided Machining) software and learning to operate and program on a Haas machining center.

Many Machine Technology graduates work full time in fields related to manufacturing while participating in company sponsored tuition programs at local community colleges.
