CHEF TRAINING

The Chef Training program is designed for students who are interested in the field of culinary arts. The program provides students with knowledge and experience in planning, preparing, and serving restaurant-quality foods. |

Suggested academic aptitudes and/or interests of students interested in Chef Training include:

First-year students focus on basic preparation skills and introductory competencies. Second-year students focus on hands-on preparation, menu planning, and management functions.
Students in the Chef Training program operate the Upper Valley Inn, a full-service restaurant located in the school. The restaurant is open to the public throughout the school year.
Graduates of Chef Training are encouraged to continue their culinary education at a variety of post-secondary institutions.
