BPA December Students of the Month Chosen
Instructors for Upper Valley JVS Business Academy are pleased to announce the Business Professionals of America (BPA) Students of the Month for December 2009. The students are nominated for this honor because of their high academic achievement, leadership ability, citizenship, and active involvement in BPA. Chosen for this honor was junior Tiffany Neves and senior Marcus Story.
Neves is the daughter of Albert L. Neves and Kathy J. Soppe of Piqua. She is enrolled in the Business and Financial Management program. She is on the A/B honor roll. While at Piqua High School, Neves was in FCCLA for two years. She enjoys swimming, reading and earning good grades. Her future plans include obtaining a law degree to assist individuals with Social Security disability claims.
Story, from Sidney, is the son of Dina Perez and Michael Story and is enrolled in the Business and Financial Management program. He placed fourth in February 2008 at the BPA regional contest in Extemporaneous Speech. He enjoys basketball, church activities, music and accounting. After graduation he plans to pursue a degree in accounting at Edison Community College.
